Mobile Production Trailer

Production Suite One (Summer 2022)

Production Suite One (PS1), available to clients beginning Summer 2022, is a 29-foot long IP-based production trailer the serves Eddy Westin and Company in a dual role. The primary role of PS1 is to serve clients as an outside broadcast trailer, featuring eight workstations for a technical director, audio engineer, character generator, and more! In addition to eight workstations the trailer features its own restroom, and a medium sized sound booth that measures 6’ 6” x 7’ 4” in size. With four-to-six (TBD) cameras on board the trailer, and featuring 40 Gbe networking and fiber based auxiliary networking PS1 has the capability to ingest up to 100 live sources utilizing NDI technology, in addition to 32 channels of audio via Dante.

The secondary role of PS1 is that of a mobile production office. With a restroom, a sound booth, desk space for eight crew members, and plenty of electrical power via batteries, generators, and shore power, PS1 can help speed up complicated productions and offer shelter to sensitive equipment in challenging weather situations - hot or cold.

PS1 is based in Reno, Nevada but is available anywhere within the contiguous United States with enough notice.

Carrier-Grade Infrastructure

Internet for Media Services (Summer 2022)

Beginning in Summer 2022, to accompany Production Suite One and other offerings, Eddy Westin and Company will begin offering non-traditional internet connections for professional media services, such as SRT, NDI 5 bridge feeds, RTMP streams, VOIP phones associated with a live production, and more. To mitigate problems with interference, bonded internet with parity is provided via satellite, fiber, cable, and cellular connections assisted by 2.4 GHz, 5.0 GHz, and 60 GHz PtP and PtMP transmission equipment. With the failover protection the bonded parity inherently provides, these internet connections can be maintained in even the toughest situations.

This service is only meant to provide short-term internet for production related purposes executed by media professionals.
